    Questions about egg laying

My first clutch of ball python’s eggs is due to hatch this Saturday. I am very excited, as you could imagine. I keep my ball pythons females in CB70 tubs with disposable cage liners as substrate. The female in question normally lays under the liner. Should I put anything in the cage for her to nest in, or is it alright for her to lay right on the bottom of the tub? Also, do they mostly lay in the middle of the night? Is it alright to leave them in there until the morning, or should I be checking on her often so that I can remove the eggs right after she lays them?

Sorry for so many question. I just want to make sure that I do everything correctly. Thanks to all that answer.

Yes, She can lay right on the bottom of the tub

They can lay anytime of the day but they usually lay early morning to late morning.... and the eggs will be fine until the next morning.

Yes, you can remove them once shes done.

Wait. You threw me for a second. So you don't have eggs hatching, you're waiting on the eggs to be laid?

    Either way, congrats!

    Cheers,

Lol, I am so sorry about that. That’s right they are not hatching, the female is due to lay. That’s what working 3rd shift will do to a person. Thank you very much for the congrats. I am so stoked. I will update everyone when she, and my other girls, lay.
