Flexwatt wont heat up...

just wondering, is there a wrong way to install and hook up the flexwatt? There is no positive and negative side, is there? I have 5 shelves of 11" hooked up to a Helix and they work great. I just noticed today that the bottom shelf wont heat up...its in the same surge protector and everything. It's the prewired setup from Reptile Basics. I even then switched the plug to another outlet directly onthe Helix, nothing. I was going to switch the leads, but that's kind of hard, so I wanted to ask first...

I would let them know that you're having a problem getting it to heat if you bought it prewired.

The sucky part is I placed an order today and it already went out, haha. They are TOO fast, haha.
