    Hi,

Aren't milks known to eat other snakes? I seem to remember dire warnings of possible cannibalism during breeding or somesuch.

    Re: My new corn.. pics

Well it took two of us. My son taking the pics and me trying to get her to stay still. In which case was not happening cause this is the fastest snake on earth!!!

I know the two dont get along it was just for photos and the never got closer than that and only twice during the "shoot".

So any ideas the type of corn? They had another one that had more orange color it looked like the reverse of this one. plus they had some that looked like lil diamond backs all boa colored with a redish diamond on their back.

Anyways after i first picked her up and she struck me 3 times I knew this was the one. Lil fiesty one that has mellowed out now and this morning was basking in her tank. The first day I fed her and it was no problem at all..

I must say I am hooked on snakes now. With my BP and now this.. My son's milk snake is very cool I am letting him hold that one and take care of that one all on his own. Well I do check up on him

    Thanks all for the comments!

That snake isn't a candy cane, but looks like it should turn out to be a pretty good looking reverse okeetee. Very nice looking snake you have there; I bet it turns out real nice!

I've found that for taking pics of hatchlings, I will put them in a deli cup and then put that in a closet for an hour or two to calm them down. I then take them out of the closet and get as many pics as I can of them while they're calm. I just take the pics in the deli cup of them w/o the lid.

    Re: My new corn.. pics

Ah. Thanks for the correction...some of the corn morphs are really hard to tell apart.

And that's a good idea for photoing young corns. I'll have to try it next time I want pix of the two little girls.
