Ok, so my lady was wrapped around her water bowl, then she was fluipped upside down. Now she is as blue as they get...i mean BLUE! She also has that pointy spine deal. So, once she sheds, I'm about 30 days out? The thing is, she hasnt eaten in about 2 months, so I know the shed isn't from size change. But when will I start seeing some poundage increase? She hasn't gained really any girth, if any, although her weight has started to increase.

Also, now did I miss ovulation? Just wondering, this is my first, thanks!

and finally a comparison between another one of my girls...just look at that contrast. Now, of course they are slightly different colors, but the suspected preggo is SO dull and blue, the blueast I've ever seen a snake...

she may not have ovulated yet. after my girls ovulate they stop bowl wrapping and start basking. i think she may be building follicles still but check your shed records to be sure. did you record all sheds since just before and during breeding?

well, the thing is, i picked this girl up in february for $40...she was 1500g and was in a tank with another female (1200g, my father-in-law got her) and a male. One of the females was seen locked up with the male a whole bunch, but we didnt know which one. We snatched these two just because they were a great deal, healthy and needed a good home. Well, low and behold, she has been showing signs all the time now.

So, I'm just waiting. But no, I dont have any records past February and she hasn't shed within that timeframe...

Also, after that day about a week ago, she hasn't wrapped anymore, she's been chillin' on her heat...

i guess its possible that this could be her pre ovulation shed.

watch for ovulation during this time just incase but start your countdown and fire up your incubator just to be safe.

just be prepared for it to go either way.

okie dokie, thats a plan. its just weird, if they locked up from january to february, could it really be this long before her ovulation? she hasnt been with a guy since the beginning of february...

they like to take their time and all you can do is wait. i have girls that locked up in november for their first time and ovulated only last month... since then they have gone through a pre lay shed maybe two weeks ago so im still waiting for eggs.
