Identification Question

We have just got an Irian Jaya Carpet Python, but are unsure if it really is what they told us. From pictures we have seen it looks like a Jungle Carpet Python. I am wondering if there are any visible traits to distinguish between the two. Or are they so similar that you can't tell?

looks like a jungle to me.

I am with Pat on this one. Looks like a jungle more than an IJ. Most Irian Jayas are red as youngsters and then start to change to their adult colors.

I will say though, that's a sweet looking jungle if that's what it is! I love the banding and the nice solid black/yellow.
