Cue goes to Cameron Park Zoo

So today I went to the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco Texas. It was a perfect day for it, 82 degrees and not a cloud in the sky! My focus is not so much the reptiles in this thread but more of the displays. They have done a wonderful job with the "natural" feel and look of the Reptile House.

    I hope you enjoy

Great stuff Cuebert! I really like the enclosures... pretty sure if my house looked like that I wouldn't mind.

    The ceiling is awesome!
Grey Scale is a good thing...

I could totally see your house like that

A local Texan artist did all the murals

You got that right platty cakes

When they designed it back in the late 90s I was lucky enough to be invited to see the progress and offer input. Really cutting edge stuff back then. They used recycled tire material for the flooring that offers an earthy feel

Just go on a zoo world tour and make a picture book with some info or something. That'd be pretty sweet!
