    could this hurt him

    well my bp shed this monday and ate on wednesday and he kept poking his head out his hide when i got home from work so i took him out.he was fine then he looked like he was gonna drop one so i put him back but he started squeezing the top of the tank with just his neck so hard that i had to pull him off with 2 hands and get him back in his tank could i have hurt him when i did this hes fine he didnt hiss or anything and hes not even a year old what would i do if he was older i dont even know any suggestions?

    I seriously doubt you hurt him in any way doing that. I've had to pull some of my snakes off the edges of their enclosures many times when they balked at going back in and they're just fine. Snakes are tougher than most people think.

    Yeah, I'll never forget the first time I saw someone handle a retic- it didn't really want to come out of its enclosure for me, and the owner goes "Here, let me try." He then planted both feet and yanked it out like a firehose! Didn't even phase the retic.

    cool well the next night i had him out i took him back out for 5 minutes when he didnt want to go back it seems like he didnt try as hard to get back out

    I always have a little trouble getting my bp back in his tank, hes a sneaky little bugger. If you do it quickly, usually they don't have as much time to figure out they are being locked up again lol. If I put my bp away slowly, he tries to wiggle his way out before I can close the lid lol.
