scale rot question.
As some of you may know I have a baby pastel with scale rot. I have taken it to the vet and have been giving medicine for a week now. doctor gave me some silver sulfadiaazine cream, chlorhexaderm disinfectant wash, and some flagyl and baytril. I have not seen any improvement in the snake. It actually appears to be getting worse. I was wondering how many people have had a snake with scale rot and how many of them had a snake die from it. I am really paranoid I dont want this little guy to die. Right now he is in shed so i dont know if thats a good thing or now, but will some of the scale rot clear up after the shed. I dont know a thing about scale rot so I need help Idont know if I am being paranoid or what.

Re: scale rot question.
LEt me rephrase cus I just read it and it confused me lol. I want to know if the discolored yellow scales on my pastel with scale rot will take a long time to heal or if they will look more normal after he sheds. I have been giving medicine for a week and dont know if its working thanks.

I can see the SSD, the disinfectant (although diluted betadine works too), and the baytril but why the flagyl?
Are internal parasites suspected?
