What do mate to a ghost?
I just picked up this male Ghost today, it is the only recessive morph I have. Any opinions on what to breed him with? ( I have never worked with recessive traits)

Ghost!
You might also consider breeding him to the following, to get started on some neat projects: Spider - Pastel - Pinstripe - Genetic Stripe

Is there any way to get a visible Trait in the 1st generation?

Yes if you breed him to a Female Ghost or a Het Ghost.
Well I should say anything that carries a ghost gene whether it be a het or a visible trait.

Re: What do mate to a ghost?
No. If you breed him to a codom. You will get whatever codom you breed him to in hets. Ex, if you breed him to a spider you will get 50% spiders and 50% normals all het for hypo. Then breed back the spider het for hypo to a hypo or het hypo to get hypo spiders.
Yes, if you breed him to another hypo or het hypo.
