    two quick questions

hey ya'll i have a few little questions.
my little girl shed 2 days ago and i noticed tonight that she failed to get some of the skin off her nose area. i thought that i would just put her in her travel box with some moist paper towels and see if that works. Better ideas?
    Also...
she seems to be weezing a little bit, it's not loud and there is no popping that goes with it but I'm still a bit concerned. I'm going to try to take her to the vet tomorrow but the guy who takes care of all my reptiles is not always there on Saturdays, so it might be monday before she gets to go. Any suggestions?

    thanks in advance guys.

Wait til she is dry and see if she sill does it and make sure that there arent any small pieces of skin in her nostrils. Happened to me a few sheds back and I freaked having just dealt with 2 of my animals having RI. Vet bills are expensive.

    Re: two quick questions

I have a great vet who only charges if he has to give something to her. He really like seeing my critters when i bring them in. So the cost thing is not really an issue. As for temps and humidity: warm side sits snywhere between 89 and 95 depending on the temps in my house with humidity between 55 and 65%, the cool side is closer to 79-84 and humidity around 60-65%.
oh and nothing coming from her mouth no labored breathing it just sounds like an asthmatic with out an inhaler

    Re: two quick questions

Hi, get the stuck shed off and then re-evaluate. Stuck sheds near the nostrils can act like a little whistle. If she still weezes, then to the vet for sure.

The soaking method previously mentioned works great. 8ballpythons has a "dealing with stuck sheds" video.
