They are similar to Ball Pythons, and still pretty rare in collections.

They are really cool animals too, but get a bit bigger than BPs.. Max out at 8ft?

    Pretty patterns, more beaded scales..

    I want some

I just googled them! I like them too! The ones I found were pretty expensive though...On one of the pages it also talked about Boelen Pythons...wow those are gorgeous as well.

Angolans are awesome snakes, the adults ive worked with were around 6-7' and about the same girth as Ball pythons. The babies are my favorites, some are nippy but they eat like PIGS!!

I think they top[ out at 6-7 ft. I definately want some, and when I have the ball morphs to trade for them I'll be getting some!

    Re: Angolans becoming more popular?

i think they'll become more and more popular as more CBB babies show up and the price comes down. for now though, they are a more 'long-term' breeding project as they take longer to get up to breeding age/weight than balls. also, they really aren't being imported anymore because of the area they come from... i think in one area it's illegal to export animals and the other are is surrounded by mine fields from the civil wars there... not mention the warlords, natives, disease, and dangerous animals that abound in the area that angolans come from.
