    Brazilian Rainbow Boa

Well, i know i said I couldnt have any more snakes for a while... and i was getting rid of 3 of my female balls... so on so forth...

this gorgeous girl was my uncle kents (in cali) and he didnt have time for her any more, my mom told me on the way to their house that i couldnt have it lol, cause he had mentioned prolly needing to find her a new home soon...

well my mom totally caved... and she wanted her... and asked me if i wanted her, and i was like err duh. and i was still confused...

shes about 13 years old, and 6.5 foot long.

so monday morning we shipped her to my house and then left for the airport for me to go home =D
    she got here yesterday...

    love this one!

    and then yesterday,
my brother wanted to know if she had come in, and he wanted to see her...
so i took off her hide, and went to pick her up, she hissed, i blew her off, and picked her up... she did what she had done time and time again, and wrapped around my wrist... and then tensed up...

    i was like oh CRAP
and then it happend... (left fore arm.)

thats all cleaned up, i will post a bloody one if you want, but idk if any one is squeemish so i figured yeah...

    THANKS FOR LOOKING!

I'll never understand people that give up snakes because they "don't have time for them anymore". It's food and water once or twice a week. Not like they have to go for walkies...

Good-looking boa though. I've never seen a full-grown BRB. More pics are required...

OOOOH! She's so pretty! I'm hoping to get 2 BRBs in the fall. So yeah, how bad did it hurt? Same as a big ball?

never been bitten by a ball lol.
honestly tho, i think ball pythons, well... most pythons for that matter, would hurt worse cause they seem to have more muscle behind the bite... jaw wise... idk, thats just what i have figured with looking at the boa compared with my pythons...

    lol

    Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa

is she a hypo? she looks much more orangey( is that a word?) and lighter than most BRBs I have seen.
