This is what makes Kat happy.

I know the vast majority of you are not cycling or triathlon geeks, but I managed to pick up a little sponsorship money this season and was thusly able to upgrade my old bike to this smokin setup. It is officially known as 'sweet pink hotness' at my LBS and I am STOKED to have such a fast ride this season!!!! I'm doing a happy dance as I type. It is currently at the shop getting the bars and shifters redone, but will be making it's debut in a few short weeks at the Bakersfield Triathlon. WOOT Woot woot. I can't wait to get out and ride it, it has been MANY months of picking up various parts off ebay, etc to round out the setup. YEAAAAAAh Pink.

    Cheers,
    Kat

Carbon fiber all the way, YO. Rims are Mavic Cosmic Carbone. I have a pair of pink speedplay pedals that are being swapped off my training bike. A girl's gotta match, eh?

Thanks all. This way I at least get to intimidate the other racers before the race. It's pretty effective up until they see me swim and keel over laughing.

    Cheers,
    Kat

I've got my denim cut-offs and old Schwinn bike, but I could take your place in the swimming part of the competition- they wouldn't be laughing then.....!
