Actually, I have a response to Re: I think my snake loves me.

I have proof, although a few will def ridicule it of course! lol.. Well when I picked out my python, I picked up all 5 of them, and they seemed to act normal and active as they say to pick, but the 3rd one when i picked him up he started looking right at my face and actually curled up all through my hands and I brought him to my face and he went straight for my mouth as I was making quiet kissy pecks in the air to him and he went up and kissed me with his tongue!! But this is not all of my proof... Then this guy said they were all male bc of looking at the little 2 things sticking out near his butt, so I went to another 2 stores to find a female, and in this other Petco, this one python had less of those 2 things near his butt which the guy at the first place said would indicate a female(wrong as I know now lol) so I bought him, bc I wanted to not be gay and Love a male pet I brought home lol ya I know stupid lol...

I AM GETTING TO THE PROOF NOW... I brought him home with the chinchilla I bought for my gf, and I started trying to play with my python. When I sat on my bed he started to want to keep getting off my hand and go down to my bed to get off me and I let him, and whenever I tried getting him up it just wanted to get off of me :',(... Yes sad indeed!! Then the next day I went back to the pet store 20 miles away of course, nothing close had any pythons without mites or something, and I went to the store that I first went to with the python that "kissed" me... I returned the other python, and the store employee remembered the python I said I may come back for, so he gave that one for me as well as get me more stuff I needed for him, and said you can't tell which is male or female without probing unlike what the other employee said...

I got back home and set up his stuff, and started holding my snake and turned on the TV... He wrapped himself all over my hand while licking the air, curling all over through himself. Then I put him around my neck, he was 8 months old, and his head was on the right and tail on the left, almost curled all the way around. He started moving his head a little down my back then back up. Then HERE IS THE PROOF... Then he moved up to where my ear was and actually put his snout into it, then came out and came around near my face to my mouth and kissed me again, then went near my cheeck and he "nuzzled" my cheek by fastly rubbing his snout up and down as quick as his tongue moved, you know, nuzzling!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol and now every time I hold him he acts so affectionate!!! Of course I Loved him as soon as he kissed me when I first picked him up! Just as much as I love family, as much as a son as I don't have one lol, but I Love him as much as I see ppl Loving their children. I pick him up every day and he always seems more active than just sleeping in his hide tree. He is always affection to me usually, and sometimes just too tired, but never wants to get off of me. When I let him down he tries to come back near me and curl up as I play video games or watch TV...

There IS a reason he might not act affectionate.... OBVIOUSLY a snake will NOT SHOW ANY AFFECTION IF YOU THINK HE IS NOT CAPABLE OF LOVING RIGHT FROM THE START OF GETTING HIM!!!!!!! Some may just not click with you from the start either lol. If you don't think they are capable, they will NEVER Love you as he wouldn't feel Loved back, so why would you even deserve its Love in the first place, just bc you are its keeper?

Well some people don't Love their own parents as they only act as their "keepers" and don't show any Love to their children, just have them just to "have" children as my girlfriend was raised. My snake even started showing some affection to her when she doesn't give off scared auras, more when she acts like he's so cute and gently pets him with her long nails...
