    Uninterruptible Power Supply and Incubator

    anyone have a UPS on their incubator in case of power outages?

    Yeppers...I have a APS Smart - UPS 2200VA unit which will give me about 3 hours of backup time. I also have a small generator I use for camping if it looks like I will be without power for longer.

    To date the longest I have ever lost power is 30 minutes when someone hit a pole...don't have a lot of weather related power issues here.

    I got a pretty big back up battery for my tubs... Not sure which model it is but its an APC power supply made for backing up business servers... I'm in the same situation as Jackel, only had a power outage for an hour or so ... no big weather issues in upstate NY.
