Hi everyone. New here and needing some advice. I've kept three BP's for the last four years so when a friend of mine asked me if I wanted another one (free) I couldn't say no. It belonged to a friend of a friend who couldn't keep it any longer. When I got it I found that it was a beautiful, well fed, 3 1/2 feet long snake. There was also a smaller BP, I'm not sure where it came from or who had it. This BP is skinny, had a bad shed, has retained eyecaps, and the onset of an RI. It's appx. 1 1/2 feet long. I can take care of the bad shed, eyecaps, and feeding but I simply can't afford a vet visit right now. I've kept it apart from the other BP's and have increased the heat in the enclosure. Is there anything else I can do? I've got liquid Baytril at home but I'm not sure of what the dose would be or if it's even an option. Any and all help would be appreciated...I'd really like to do what I can for the little guy.
Thanks!
