    Pairing snakes.

I was wondering I am not quite ready yet well my female isn't quite ready to breed yet. But I was just wondering when she is and I do pair her with either my norm or pastel do I just throw them in together and leave them? Or do I have to leave them for an hour or two and if nothing happens separate them. What I really wanna know is can I put them together and go to work and maybe separate them when I get home. I just don't wanna leave them together unattended if I shouldn't.

Just throw them together. Leave them for three days and pull the male out for a day and put him back in. You can rotate males back to back if you like. Check them 1-2 times a day. Some will lock within a couple hours. The worst that can ever happen is that they will ignore each other. Good Luck!!

Most people use a cycle that involves 2 to 3 days straight together, 2-3 days apart. Put them together and go to work. Tell the kids to have fun and just check on them every 12 hours or so! Ok first time like my wife and I, so it is ok to look in more often, but if they are in a tub look through the front every 4 hours and try not to disturb them by pulling the tub out very often and use a red flash light with low batteries!
