    New Babies!

Well I finally got my Irian Jayas...I've been dying for one of these guys forever, and the deal on these guys was too good to pass up...so I got the pair. Which makes them my first official breeding pair! Granted, they have a ways to go before they're old enough...but one day! I'm so happy. I've only got pics of the female for now, the male is blued out right now so I will get pics after he sheds.

    It's like Christmas!

I don't think she likes the looks of me...

    Nope, definitely not...

    I'm gonna bite ya!

    OK,maybe I was bluffing...

Very nice looking girl. She looks to be turning out well. I like her banding.

Who did you pick them up from? Any pics of the parents?

    Re: New Babies!

I got them from a guy that lives about an hour away. He breeds carpets. Why, what seems odd?

They do not look like pure Irians. Who is the breeder? Any pics of the parents?

MPenn's spidey senses are going off. But now that you mention it, they do look like 'maybe' Jungle mixed in there. Good luck with that beauty.

    Re: New Babies!

The breeder that we found is just a local guy, his name is Anthony Fish...we don't have pics of the parents, but I could e-mail him and ask if he could send some. What is it about them that tips you off? I'd be pretty disappointed if they turn out to be mixes, I had planned on breeding them in a couple of years.
