Not very creative, but yummy!
I figured I'd post some kind of tutorial on a light, somewhat healthy lunch Medium/Medium rare steak, and garlic mashed potatoes.
What you need-Add, subtract according to taste and how much you want to make.
3-6 Large potatoes
Garlic powder
Half and Half, or Milk
Salt and Pepper
Parsley
Butter
1+ steaks (choose to your liking on cut, thickness, preference, etc...)
Cut the potatoes, skin on, into thick slices. Add them in a large pot with water, and what spices you wish, for flavoring. Bring to a roaring boil, with a lid on until tender to a fork.

After the potatoes are done cooking, mash in a bowl with a beater or similar utensil. Whichever you prefer. Add butter, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper, and mix.

When your done, they should look something like this...

In a smaller sauce pan, bring your half and half, or milk to a simmer, with whatever seasonings you wish to add. Don't allow it to churn.

Afterwards, mix in with the butter/potato mix.

_______________
For the steaks-
Select a fresh, prime cut of whichever you choose. Make sure your sources are fresh, and the meat is good quality. I chose Kansas city cuts. These cuts average around 5oz each.

Cook to your liking, over open flame. Closing the lid will dry the steak and give it a toughness. Open flame will help the cut retain tenderness, and juiciness. For these, 15-20 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Don't overdo it, like I did on one side, running back and forth between things It'll dry the steak.
Afterwards, slice the steak, and serve with the potatoes. They make a good, healthy lunch. Much better than most fast foods, and just as cheap. This cost me somewhere around $5 a plate..

Enjoy!
