No lock up on first try, how long until I try again?
I put my pastel male with a female and I didn't observe any locks (had them together 3 days). I separated them last week and fed them over the weekend. How long should I wait until I try to pair them up again?

Give them a couple days to absorb thier meals and go at it again .Now remember just because you dont see them "playing" does not mean they are not "playing" while your asleep

I was told by someone that after a meal females more appealing to males.... Also keep your eye on the weather channel for low pressure systems and such. Changing weather is always a great stimulant for bp's, otherwise good luck.

I usually leave mine together for 4-5 days, and then separate and offer both food. And then bring them back together in another 2-3 days.

If she is not cycling or your male is young they will not be very interested in each other, but you can still keep trying
Some snakes are picky with who they will be with so that plays into it too.
