Albinos
I am a little confused about the Albino gene. Am I correct in that there is an Albino, Caramel Albino and Lavender Albino gene and they are all DIFFERENT from each other? I am trying to understand how they interact with each other.
For example: What would I get if I bred a Het Caramel Albino with a Pastel het caramel albino?
What would happen if it were a Pastel het Albino or Pastel het Lavender Albino instead?
I am familiar with how recessive genes basically work, but the Albino part is throwing me for a loop. Any genetics gurus out there I would appreciate the help
Thanks
(I chose the examples above because I have some of those options open to me)

You would get Pastel Caramel Albinos, Caramel Albinos, Pastels poss Het Caramel Albino, Normals poss het Caramel Albino. (Poss meaning they could be normal)

More confusing...
You would get double possible hets of Caramel Albino and Albino or Lavendar Albino... Depending on what combo you are asking about.

Re: Albinos
Thanks Heather, that actually clears up a lot for me, I can now go and figure out Punnett squares for what I could get. The double-het makes sense to me seeing as they are different genes.

Re: Albinos
Now my brain hurts
I'm pretty sure I set-up my Punnett wrong. I thought I had it, but I do not get any Pastel het Albino Caramels in my calculations. How many total combinations should there be(including duplicates)? Or another way of asking would be, how many squares should my diagram be? I'd love to be able to figure this one out before anyone gives me the actual percentages(or before I go to the looney bin).

Re: Albinos
I think it will be 16 squares. Just wait till you get to triple morphs!
