    Exo-Terra and Dual Top Canopies

Has ANYONE heard anything regarding Exo-Terra's dual top canopies? All you can find in the US is the compact tops.

Europe has had the duals for a while now. Hagen distributor says he is "checking into it" and since investing good money into 3 36" terrarium tanks it would be nice to know if anybody has heard when they will be carried in the United States.

And of course a European canopy won't work in the US even though Exo-Terra advertises they are available or at least being manufactured. Perhaps a delay due to jumping through the UL approval and all. Idunno. Frustrating.

    Thanks,
    Jeff aka mrmertz

You can buy them on ebay, but if the plug is for the UK you can simply buy a converter plug for it. I do not use the canopy style lighting but I do have an exo-terra 8x18x18. I would enquire right from the exo-terra site as to if they have these for North America yet.

    Python...

...no. This is the guy I am after -

I hate to have to pay for a European one then convert it over if they will soon be released in the US. I can't imagine why they wouldn't be.

    Thanks for input...

Why don't you make your own? I've made a few of those and they look just as nice as the Exo-terra ones. It's probably cheaper and you can make it the exact dimentions you need.
