I know this is wierd, but... Can you neuter your snake?
I have recently received an e-mail "inquiry" (ahem.. scammer) about an animal up for adoption.
One of the questions was:
Is the Snake neutered?
Now, I am aware of Mammals being neutered, but I have yet to hear anything about Reptiles. It got me curious, and wanted to see if anyone else has any ideas or experiences in it? (I know I don't....and I don't think it very necessary, but...Curiosity for curiosity's sake)

Well, like any other animal, I would imagine that the sex organs can be surgically removed. I just can't think of a really good reason to do so...

I don't really know the answer to this, but I would imagine some well placed duct tape could do the job. :-D

Agreed!
I'm sure it can be done, without a doubt. But do you know anyone who has ON PURPOSE? (I'm sure accidents, etc..which wouldn't count)

I've never actually heard of snakes being neutered, but I have heard of Green Iguana's being neutered. I've never had first hand accounts of it though

Yes I used to have all kinds of stupid fun with those overseas scams!
If you've ever posted a classified, I'm sure you've gotten the
"Hello, I am an investor in Ghana, and I am interested in what you sell. I can have it shipped and do all of the work, but let me send you a check, and you take what you need out of it and send the rest back."
I usually send some off the wall scam right back.
"Oh Hi, I am breeder selling the endangered walleye fish from Cuba, cost for each animal is 25,000 Euro. I can send you a check and you take what you need to send packers and importing information for me. I look forward to doing business with you"
Or this mumbo jumbo to get them to stop emailing me from the get go
"MAILER DAEMON: Utilized forbidden function JKH00003212030021932; {tr'yu' DELETED FOR FUNCTION CALL"
Haven't had anyone want to do business with me. *sigh

If I'm remembering correctly there was a member on this forum who had a ball who prolapsed and a hemipene needed to be surgically removed due to too much damage to the tissue... Does anyone else remember that? Anyway, I reckon that if one can be removed then so can the other...
