A few pics of my snakes...

Not on here as much as I should be... I tend to say that on all the forums I lurk on, but... I got a few pics of my crew lately that have me smiling.

    Olive. My best girl glowing.

Here is her pre-glow and building... she was MISERABLE when I took this pic.

Newest pic of my male pastel Zoltan just being a bad-asterisked cat (as my gram would have said)!

    Doing his GTP impersonation

My newest corn Hubert... not so new now, but the first good pics I have gotten of him.

    And his lovely belly pattern...

    Buddy(!) and Katya

Linda (and Zoltan) who I just palpated and felt my first follicles. Very heady feeling... *bump* *bump* *bump*

And one final pic. Home for less than an hour and the bloodletting begins!
    "I am squashing your head!"

    Thanks for looking,
    Bruce

PS: JoAnna WARNED me about the demon seed ASFs, but I still put my hand in the tub. The second bite was when I shook the male off my thumb and he grabbed my finger on the way down... I kid you not.

Great photo's, Bruce! Zoltan is looking amazing as always and Hubert has the coolest belly. Looks like a double zipper LOL.

Ahhh so the demon seed ASF have got you too have they. I thought I heard mine muttering amongst themselves lately about "troop movement to the north" and "sharpen those teeth men, we've fingers to knaw!"

Re: A few pics of my snakes...

    Thanks for the responses.

I went to the Montreal Expo on Sunday and got to see some pics of Zoltan's hold back relatives, and I have to say... we have some good genetics going on. Also there were only two hatchlings released from that breeding.

As far as the demon seed ASFs. I loathe them! Deb suggested that perhaps they may tame out with the second generation. I put my hand in the tank on the premise that "all animals love me, because they just instinctively know that I love and deeply respect them"...

Not so much with the ASFs. I reached in. The male backed up... turned and clamped on. So much for love curing all!

I even tried Jo's "BAD RATS!!!" *slaps cage* technique when they were hanging off the wire trying to chew their way through the enclosure. NO RESPONSE AT ALL!

    They just kept chewing.

I am going to go out and buy them doggie chew stuff today and some pieces of white wood.

When I picked them up, the vendor opened the enclosure to show me, or started to open the enclosure, then he said... "oh look, there is the male..." at which point the lid was slapped back down.

That should have been my first clue to just walk away...

We were talking about litter size and he noted "yes, they will someday take over the world."

(the above is a note is response to Jo noting they are gnashing their teeth and heading North)... tell them to stay where they are! I have met the Chupacabra. My fate will be to be found by my neighbours drained of all my blood.

Sangulated...? Sangulation? I googled but can not find the correct term. BUT it was in the X-Files episode with the 9 Eves. Geek!

Uhm, yeah. So I have like Monday off and not near enough things to do.
