BCI or BCC *stop groaning*

OK, so I'm almost sure that I have a BCI here, but I just got done reading The Complete Boa Constrictor by Vincent Russo and my head is abuzz with boas. Judging by the shape of the saddles (no peaking, though I hear some BCCs don't have them) I say BCI, but she only has 18, and aren't BCIs supposed to have at least 22?

She also has a pretty red tail (although she is a baby) and I see what I think are the little "eyelashes" although that could just be head markings that I'm trying in my tired brain to make into lashes. She kinda seems to have more of a long skinny face, but that could just be from her being a baby too.

I suppose there's always the possibility that she's a cross too, but that would be a bummer because I'm hoping to breed this girl down the road and if she's a cross I don't want to muddy up the gene pool, so she'd have to be just a pet. As soon as she sheds for me I'm gonna do a scale count. So anyway, here's some pics of her, take your best guess.

That's a BCI. Those stats are only the normal for the most part. You must remember that 95% or more of any "colombian" that has any morph genetics or is an offspring from any morph lineage probably, and most likely, has some Central American in the bloodlines. This is because of the salmon or hypo gene being most primarily stemmed from Central American lineage. I'm not sure that explains the saddle count, I tend to ramble sometimes...

It's a BCI. lol. Jeff Ronne did a writeup awhile back with his explanation of the Colombian boa being a BCC and not a BCI because of his experience and the saddle count.

I think you need to do scale counts to be sure, but it looks like BCI to me

Very pretty little BCI! She has a very nice classic pattern to her, very clean and symmetrical.
