Woot! Finally!

Well tonight my small BP FINALLY had a perfect shed! All one piece from head to tail! I don't know if it was just because my humidity wasn't perfect (darn these glass tanks) or who knows what but I finally don't have to do the whole damp towel rubby thing to get little stuck bits off! I'm so proud of him.

Sorry, just had to share my happiness with people who might understand. I went running into the living room with his shed and was all, "LOOK at THIS!" to my husband and he just looked at me like I was kinda crazy and goes, "A snake shed? And?" He just doesn't get it.

Ok done babbling now.

Hey we totally understand LOL. I've been known to have to run into the hallway to bounce around giggling insanely because one of the snakes did something wonderful and I don't want to freak them all out by hopping up and down in the BP room!

I took a perfect shed of a Jungle Carpet Python, cut it down the stomach, and pinned it to a piece of wood, like it was "snake skin"... in a slightly more snake-loving way, lol. I still have it, but unfortunately I didn't spread some kind of sealant or glue or something over it cuz now it's kinda turning to dust!

LOL. I feel you. I'm always telling my hubby to look at some amazing thing the snakes are doing and he just kinda glances at em and goes, "Yea, that's cool." He loves the snakes too he just doesn't get quite as giddy as I do.
