Glow worm :)

Godiva is really glowing, and bowl wrapping (though not in this pic.) She could either be bred by my spider, or by my striped male. We shall see!



This is her normal dark coloration. Granted, a flash was used in the top pic.. but still!

Sorry for the ignorance. But when do the females glow?

Do they need cooled for it? Just wondering if around breeding time if my female will glow.

Many people notice their females grow once they have "taken" and are forming fertilized eggs inside. I have never heard of anyone having a scientific explanation for it. I remember reading somewhere that they are slightly malnourished by the "parasitic" aspect of needing to expend energy on egg building, and this might cause it.
