    Treated Tank with PAM

Well I just fed Furio. GREAT FEEDING RESPONSE! he's out of his tank and it's been treated with provent a mite which by the way is the foulest smelling substance I've ever had to smell. I was told to put his bedding back down and everything but him and his water dish in his tank and spray it down and give it a couple hours so hopefully that solved the problem. There were no mites on him or anywhere else in the tank so I'm not sure if it was a mite or some dirt from the moss or a hide but THANK YOU everyone for your input on what to do. I think Furio is set and everyone at my house loves him, he's a great little snake and I look forward to many years with him. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU again EVERYONE.

just so there's no confusion PAM is short for provent-a-mite,it;s NOT referring to the cooking oil spray.

Lol. Yea, it took me a second to figure that out the first time I saw it. I was like, "Seriously? Cooking oil? Are these people looney?"

I'm glad it's working!! I just had no idea about the little red marks on his back...
    Are they still there?

    Re: Treated Tank with PAM

I haven't checked again today. Just picked him up to put him in his feeding tub and then went to town on his tank. Everything in his tank has been sprayed except for the water bowl and Furio himself. He's going back into his tank now
