    General Brazillian Rainbow Boa Information

    Hi!
I am a new owner of a Pastel Ball Python but I've been looking at the BRB and they are just too beautiful!
I dont know much about them and I am not sure about what I read online.
One day I would like to get one so I just wanna learn more about them.
    What is there temperement like?
Are they as shy as BP?
    Do they feed easily?
All in all I want little comparison between BP and BRB
    Thanks
    Fred.

Since I do not have any personal experience with them, here's a link to our caresheet. http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules....warticle&id=15

Re: General Brazillian Rainbow Boa Information

humidity is super important, if it drops too much you'll have problems. If that happens you may get RI type symptoms that go away with corrected humidity. They should be kept cooler than bp's, I have my rainbow basking spots at 85, and the boas and balls at 92, but you need to read up on their care before you do anything. They're usually considered intermediate snakes because they give some keepers a lot of difficulty. Corallus.com has a caresheet, as does NERD, and there are several other good ones around. Great snakes, I have one that's a real sweetheart. But then again the meanest snake I've ever owned was a BRB, 6 feet of pure fury, but unfortunately I lost him to a stupid cooling accident when a roommate turned off the heat, I felt terribly bad about that.
