Shooting? At a school?? But I thought they were "gun-free zones"???
Oh wait, that's right, only VICTIMS are gun-free in gun-free zones. Forgot.
I can't wait for the day that one of the fish-in-a-barrel (student/teacher in a closed classroom) returns fire...

Yet another incident for all the Anti-Gun people to have a field day with.
Horrible.

In all of my years of being in school we NEVER had to worry about anything! What happened to those days? It's all too scary anymore!
Sending thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families!

But if everyone had guns, how would you know if you were handing out guns to innocent civilians or potential criminals? And if potential criminals can easily get guns where they couldn't before, isn't that asking for more trouble? I heard after the Virginia Tech tragedy that VA has some of the most lax gun laws in the country, but I'm not sure if that's true or not.
This kind of thing breaks me up. I'm a college student myself on a big campus. After VA tech I was nervous every time I went to class that a gunman was going to come in and start shooting everybody. I don't want to be at the point where there are armed security guards at every building. And now this happens. School is supposed to be safe.
