    I see what you mean

I went to the store today to pick up feeders and they had a yellow belly male for $200. I asked to see it to see if I could find what makes a yellowbelly a yellowbelly. I know I've heard at least one person say that once you see a yellowbelly in person there is no mistaking it.

This snake had a definate yellow tint to its belly and yellow on the sides. The tint on the belly was faint and seemed to be in blotches. Very pretty snake and not a bad temperment either. Anyone care to post some pictures of their yellowbellys. I plan on getting one, maybe not this year, but at least next year to make some ivories.
    Under Construction.....

Re: I see what you mean

I have no YBs myself but this thread is very helpful in learning how to identify them.

I adore YBs. I feel that they are one of the most underrated morph out there.

Re: I see what you mean

hmmm...I think my bp may be a yellowbelly. He has the flames, the faded head marking, and what I think might be speckling...if I post pics, can someone help me figure it out? I know the saying goes "If you don't know if it's a morph, then it isn't" but maybe? I don't know anything about where the guy that had him before me got him.
