    Bad mood?

I know I'm probably just being paranoid but I just wanted to make sure...

I haven't touched my BP since... last wednesday probably because I've been busy (he stays at my BF's house now because my parents are scared). Well I went over there today to check on him, clean up, feed him, etc. I usually hold him for a little bit every time I go over there so I put the mouse in another room and went to pick him up. He was on the cool side of the tank so I picked up the hide and just stroked his back a little to let him know I was there/wake him up. But, every time I touched him he flinched and shied away. He usually does this just a little bit but everytime I tried to pick him up he literally flinched and moved out of my grasp. He never struck at me though. I finally gave up, thinking he may just of been in a bad mood since this was the first time ever. I then fed him, which he didnt waste a second on taking his mouse.

All his temps are fine.. so just a bad mood perhaps? Maybe since I haven't held him in a week? He's still a young'un..

    Hi,

Is he also due for a shed as that can make them cranky on occasion?

then sheding shouldn't be it, I think it's just because he didint know what were u planing to do with him, next time just grab him and handle normaly. If he strikes or something, the thing I do to get my snakes used to me, is sleep with a t-shirt and the oput it inside the cage, so they get used to my scent hope it helps
