    Soaking Soaking Soaking

Now don't get me wrong I know bloods like to soak.

But my blood has been soaking in his water dish almost every night for the last week!!! Humidity is 60 to 70%.

Ambient temps are 80 to 81 with a hotspot of 88 degrees.

This is in his new animal plastics T10 cage.

He dropped the tiniest little poop and a very small urate the other day. And he doesn't feel like he's backed up at all.

Anyone notice they're blood soaking this much?

Hey you...sorry I can't say that I've experieced this myself...in fact, I'm at the opposite end where I fear Jelly doesn't know about the water that's made available to him! I'm sure some other blood keepers can provide you with some advice and comments though! Don't stress out!

Oh I'm not stressing. I know nobody has mites. Everyones cages have aspen that I've pretreated with PAM.

And the humidity is fine in everybodies home. My new ball I just took in I just caught soaking too.

    Hmmm....

    Thanks for the reply!

    Soaking king. Hahaha

I figured he was soaking to get ready to drop a big ol turd. And sure enough I walk in the room the other day and notice the humidity in his cage was a tad higher than normal.

So I opened it up and was like "OHHH MY GOOODD". The smell is horrendous! So I was looking for a huge mess. But it was this little tiny poop like the size of your pinky.

He must have thought he was being funny

As long as I know he likes the water Allison. I won't fret.

I need to try and get some new pictures of him up don't I?

What are you using for hides in the new enclosure?

He's got a few pieces of white newsprint on each end of the enclosure. With his water bowl in the middle in the back.

He hides all day. And eats just fine. Just lately he's been soaking at night. Almost every night.

Maybe he's sitting in the water hoping food will come by? Instinct?
