    age and weights of rats

    Hello all,

for all those who breed rats or just know alot about them i have a few questions. is it possible to make a list of age to weight? they say that a female should be 4 months old but no where can i find a gram weight for them too. i have 2 females but have no idea of their age. one is 200 grams and the other is 150. i know thye are smaller than they should be and im going to be holding them back until they are ready but i dont know when that will be.

if someone can come up with a list of weights in grams from birth to adulthood by month and breeding age and so on i would be greatful.

    thanks Nick

    Nick,

I breed my females by weight, when they've broken 250 grams, they start to be introduced to the male. Hope that helps!
