I like to switch it up, closer to a 50:50 mix.

I let the snakes use my bed and I sleep in the cage...anything for some little babies!

Re: WOW This question needs answering...(Introductions)
I introduce my males, into each female's tub. I then rest him in his own tub, and put him into the next girl's tub.

Re: WOW This question needs answering...(Introductions)
See I was under the impression that the male needed to feel at home because they do most of the work and if you put them in a new enclousure theyll pay mor attention to that than the new female. It makes sense because 2 of my adult females are female dogs in general, always trying to bite, very tense when handled, I'm sure when I move them theyre not happy and the male probably gets no love because of it. Arrrrgggg!

Ya the Dr. Seward video says to put the female in the males cage for the above reasons...Whats the midset behind putting th male into the females cage as opposed to the opposite? The female needs to be more comfortable?

Re: WOW This question needs answering...(Introductions)
It's easier to turn a male on to breed than it is to get a female to commit to ovulation...I've always left females in their enclosures & moved males around.

Re: WOW This question needs answering...(Introductions)
The reason that I put my females into my males cages is I believe that my males feel comfortable in their own tubs. Just my thought on it. It seems to work for me. Hope this helps.

Re: WOW This question needs answering...(Introductions)
In many cases the females are much larger than males and that's one of the reasons I go with female's tub. Also if I am using different males the scent of the other male may cause a stronger breeding response. Most active males don't care where they are when in breeding mode, snakes too.LOL
