    Snake not pooping

I purchased my BP about three weeks ago and since then have fed it two mice. It has yet to poop and I don't understand it. I did not feed it this week just to see if it would poop. Anyone know why this is?

They don't typically go on a weekly basis. I usually get a nice big poo whenever they shed.

Yep...shed time is poop time. Every now and then will get one in between sheds but they will not go like you and me. If you get over concerned or if they do not poop when they shed a warm bath and little massage, head to tail, will usually do the trick.

There is no set schedule; some go once a week some go once a month or more.

Depends if they are growing, what their feeding schedule is, how large the preys are etc.

Ah good to know guys. You know he looked like he was about to shed, his eyes glazed over and his skin seemed to look pale, but then he did not. Any reason for this?

    Re: Snake not pooping

My boa rarely poops...she'll go maybe every 6 weeks and then it's MASSIVE. My corn on the other hand poops nearly every week. My burm poos maybe once or twice a month. My bp, who's fasting atm, poos very rarely.

They go when they need to. As long as the husbandry requirements are met, don't worry about it. =)
