    Poss yb? DUW

I know what the typical yellow bellies look like but I have heard that people have made ivories out of some that didn't quite look like a yellow belly. I have to CH females that look similar. I am going to breed to a yellow belly male to see but just wanted to see what others thought. They are cool projects to mess with in any case in my opinion.

The first one, she has a little lighter spot on her head but not like my true yellow belly male. She is also going into shed so kinda dull right now.

The second one that may breed this season

They very well could be, I know there are yellow bellies out there that don't conform to the ideal description of one. Personally I like the second one better. The only way to be sure is to breed them to a yellow belly from a proven line and see what hatches. The worst that can happen is that you produce more yellow bellies.

Thanks Mark, that's what I have planned for them. I wish my male yellow belly was a little more in mood.

Maybe some extra snow will get him in the mood....

They are very pretty even if they don't prove out

Also remember there are yellow bellies that do not prove out too. then proven lines bred to Farmed yellows sometimes still do not produce ivories. Yellow belly is one of them genes that is still be worked out IMO
