    temporary live feeder storage

I just read through 9 pages of posts and dont see an answer to my question. Maybe its just a dumb one but i'm gonna ask anyways. I dont plan on breeding mice or rats right now i have only 1 BP an plan to try to get to eat F/T eventually. Untill then if i buy say 3 or for live feeders at a time can i cage them in the same room as my BP or will the constant smell of them drive the snake crazy, or affect how they react when the lid is open (always thinking its feed time)? I know i will have to feed and care for the mice/rats untill they become food thats fine it's just the only place i could put them would be in the same room. I've recently had some health and feeding issues with my BP and don't want to do ANYTHING that could push my little progress backwards. If i have to go to the store every 5 days i will but would rather not.

I've never had any issue keeping rodents in the same room as the snakes. I think you'd be fine.

Shouldn't be a problem. We keep our ball python collection in the same large room as our rat colony and it doesn't seem to bother either group.

It's always nice if you can buy feeder rodents ahead of time anyways. Gives you a chance to get them fed and watered properly if they've just come from a crowded pet store feeder cage.

Thanks. After what it's taken to get it to eat i didn't want to take any chances.
