Petco...
I was in petco, and most of their reptile cages are about 80-83F and 30% humidity. are we worrying too much about the setup in the cage, or does petco just not care?????

Re: Petco...
that and if you talk to the people there they are clueless. a lot of times the animals are wc and full of parasites. look real closely in the cage I have seen them in our two locations.

Re: Petco...
You don't get your husbandry advice from a chain pet store who's goal is to display the animals and keep them alive long enough to sell them.

Re: Petco...
It's a chain Pet store.............they care just enough to keep the animals alive....they don't plan on them staying long!
"Why do you need so many snakes?"
"Why do you need so many shoes?"

Re: Petco...
Not sure if they don't care or just don't know (either way it's not an excuse).
Keep in mind that the animals are just there to get you in the door get you hooked so they can than sell you the supply you need, which is their primary goal.

Re: Petco...
I have to say that the Petco near me is really good. The tanks are clean and the temps are well within range.
