    first year breeding

wish me luck... this is my first year breeding. i only have 2 100% het albinos breedable right now... i have 2 breedable pastels i just recently bought but they havent done squat. probably next year. here are some pics. wish me luck to have great odds!

pardon the urates... the male goes crazy and pees everywhere when i introduce him.

they have locked up 6 times since 11-26. my question is, is that good? thats 6 times in less than 2 months...

    Re: first year breeding

That amount of time spent together is fine. I like to get in 2 breedings per month, but most of my boys are breeding between 3 and 5 girls each. With a 1.1 in a breeding project, there is nothing wrong with 3 times a month. In fact I have one project that I only have one male and one female for. I put him in once a week for three days, and then give him an entire week off after the third introduction. It sounds like much the same schedule as you have.

Congrats on the lock for your first breeding season, and here's to a great clutch with a little yellow in it.

Really nice! Just remember Rule #1 for your first (or tenth) season ----> enjoy every minute of it.
