Okay the recent picture forum about pins has made me think. Correct me if I'm wrong pins are a dominant trait yes? I was wondering if one were to breed two reduced pattern pins if this would result in all reduced patterns in their offspring? I have heard of this happening in others such as Clowns which is a recessive gene. So if a recessive gene snake can produce such outcomes shouldn't a dominant gene snake do the same? I know that select breeding can produce some outstanding looking snakes, and is the way to go if you are breeding snakes. Can anyone shed some light on this for me.
