They are all different and all have different requirements.

Do your research and pick the one that fit what YOU are looking for in a snake.

Should be WHAT DO YOU WANT! And can you give it proper care.
The snake someone else chooses, may not suit you.

    Re: Next snake........

I would have to agree that you have to pick that snake that works for YOU.

My reasons for picking one of the 3... such as speed of the snake, tameability, eventual size, collection compatibility, and not to mention aesthetic appeal is based upon what I like in a snake and what I know I can manage and work with.

All 3 are great snakes. All 3 I plan on keeping (I have 2 of the above). But it is all about timing and what works at the moment.

    Good luck with your decision.

    Re: Next snake........

But to actually answer the question...

I wouldn't get any of the 3... at the moment. But would be most tempted by the male black milk.

    Pros:

    Sexy snake!
    Mate to my female.
    Plan on getting one eventually.
    Manageable size.
I know I can meet the husbandry requirements.
Did I mention I think they are hot?!

    Cons:

    They stink!
    They are fast and shifty.
Availibility of a snake the right age/size so that I can tame it out with less hassle than my female (adult adoption - whose hobbies include eliminating and musking).
    Did I mention they stink?

    Re: Next snake........

I was just curious of everyone's opinion.....I have done plenty of research on all of them.....I like the BCI's size and color (of a male at least) as well with the pastel BP....I'm leaning towards the pastel bp for now though just to save space...later on when I'm out of my apartment I'll get a few monsters....maybe in a couple years that female will pair up with my normal male or something...just curious of what people think/lean towards.

    Re: Next snake........

I went with the female pastel just to add to the visual morph breeders in the collection
