RTB update + where to buy

My RTB "rescue" is doing great! She only has 2 more shots to go! I sprayed her cage with PAM and haven't seen a mite since.. the noise she makes when she breathes is almost gone.. and she is eating regularly for me Thanks everyone for the help with her, she gets a lot of love here.

I want to get another RTB, I'm really interested in getting an albino female but I've been having a hard time finding one (they're either male or sold out.. I've seen a couple females but they were on the higher end of the price range I've seen). I won't be able to get one for another couple months but I would like to find a good seller before hand.. I feel like I've looked everywhere! (on these forums, the seller review forum, google, kingsnake) I've seen they go from $500-$1,500+.. the $500 I found was on kingsnake.com and I don't know how reliable the people are on there.. it reminds me of craigslist .. I would like to find a good seller that other people reccomend.. with a legit website or someone whos backed up by people on here.. Does anyone have any ideas of where I can find a good boa?
It doesn't really have to be an albino, I just want a good looking female.

Thanks a lot, I've been to peter kahls website.. beautiful snakes, all the ones I like there are male.. I'll keep checking it though, I still have a while before I get a new boa.
Never heard of jimisnakes though, I'm going to look that up right now

Re: RTB update + where to buy

Hope so I bought two BPs from him today (Pastel and Pinstripe). I'll let you know when they come in. I asked for him to ship them out in a couple weeks just to get 5 or 6 feedings and a shed in.

Here's the deal: Go with Jimi. Web addy is jimisnakes.com
He is a small breeder of excellent stock. He handles his snakes a lot so that when they get to your home (and calm down after shipping) you will have a mellow snake who will not eat you.
Jimi feeds his snakes very well and does not only offer a maintenance diet of mice.
Jimi is easy to get in touch with and always get back in touch with customers super fast.
Jimi's prices are fair and he has a large supply- especially at this time of year. His website is not up to date given breeding season, but email him and/or call him. Also, take a look at this forum~ he shows his snakes all the time!! He goes by jim020cricket and his snakes are the hotness!!!!! His normals are also hot!!!
    Check it out!

Thanks, I really like Jimi's snakes.. I'm friends with him on myspace so whenever he posts a new blog about his snakes I see all the babies, they're very good looking.

I'm actually not going to even think of getting a new snake until my RTB with an RI either clears up (which isn't looking hopeful) or if she dies whatever she has is antibiotic resistant and nothing showed up when they did a culture so I don't want to bring anymore snakes into this mess until something changes with my big sick baby

Oh, I am so sorry to hear of the seriousness of your RTB
QT'ing aside, I think it's very responsible for you to wait until things resolve with the rescue snake.
    Awww, I'm so sorry.
