I wouldn't freak out, they will tend to go off feed when in shed

Re: my baby wont eat :(

    Hello,

I am still somewhat of a newbie, but I read everything that I can get my pretty hands on.

I have a 3ft Ball, Malkia, and she refuses food when really underway with her shed process.

It is trial and error sometimes, but you will learn about things really quick. I am meticulous about her environment, etc. so I am always on this site making sure that I am being the best reptile owner I can be.

    Have a great New Year,

    Domina Isadora

Some BP will not eat while in shed, nothing to worry about.

In the mean time make sure your husbandry is optimal.

Yes, this is normal. When was the last time she ate? If within a week or two, she is fine. Just make sure your humidity is optimal to help her shed - up a little from the usual 50% or so.

How old is your BP? How big? What type of tank/tub do you have? What has he/she been eating? Temps? Humidity? Handling? When was the last time he/she ate?
