Re: New Crestie Pics
we keep the CGD in there full time.. we also offer crickets almost every other day. Our cresties are only 2g and 5g. Enjoy your new pet!

Re: New Crestie Pics
what a cutie! feeding cgd every other day is fine, and crickets anywhere from 1-3 times per week is good for a hatchling (if you choose to feed crickets).

Re: New Crestie Pics
sometimes they will favor crickets over cgd if you feed them too often, or they will fill up on crickets and not eat the cgd. keep an eye on him, and as long as he is eating both he is okay, otherwise, space your cricket feedings further apart.
you should dust the crickets with both calcium and a vitamin powder. i use rep-cal calcium and herptivite.
sometimes when a new crested is settling in they won't eat at first, but that should only last for about a week.
he looks like a patternless yellow, although he does have a few little tiger markings, so he may turn into more of a yellow tiger as he matures.
