I'm not going to say it is 100% this, I'm not a vet but it could be the begining of RI. That starts out with a weazy sort of breathing. If you hold her mouth shut(gently) do bubbles form around her mouth? Is her nose plugged at all?

The snake has been making these sounds for 2yrs and your now just asking if its normal .Check her over and if you hear popping noises then she has URI,but i doubt she has had it for 2yrs.

This is not a good bit of advice telling someone to hold the snakes mouth shut as it could hurt her or get him bit

You should have asked a while ago. Like the other person said if it was URI she would be gone by now. It is either skin left from a shed or if she spends alot of time in the water bowl it could just be water... and don't worry she will clear it herself. Good luck and keep us updated.

    Re: Wheezy sound?

Since it's been going on for so long, I'd guess and say it's a piece of stuck shed in/on the nose/nostrils.

Just an FYI, wheezing, rattling, popping sounds are also warning signs of RI. So when in doubt see a vet.
