Confused or something else?
So yesterday I put my male pastel in with my 'odd' normal, and so far they've just been.. Chillin in one of the hides... Their both 'virgins' (lol, I feel funny saing it about snakes), So I'm not sure if their just confused or what.
I'm wondering if maybe it's because their in an aqarium? He's in a tub, and it's to small for her, so I put him in her tank, so do you think that could be it? Or should I take out the hides or something? It's not in a high traffic area AT ALL, so I don't think thats it... I think they just dont know what to do..
Some advice, perhaps?
Please and thanks

Re: Confused or something else?
I don't have anything in with them, not even water (so if one develops a RI from the stress of breeding, they aren't sharing the same water source reducing the risk of both of them becoming sick).

Robin...did you decide to take their water away on your own or based on some other experienced person's recommendation? I am curious since we pair our snakes for 2-4 days at a time you are denying them water for that long? This seems more damaging then a "potential" stress related RI?

Ive been taking everything out except the water. For some snakes, that doesnt mean anything though, lol.

Yea, I took out both hides (which is everything aside form water), went to bed, and woke up and checked on them and the female was curled up on the warm side and the male was trying to escape out of the cool side.. haha.. It was funny in a way... Except for I was hoping for more interaction... Should I keep trying, or do you think he just may not be ready?
