My 1.0 het amel feeding series as requested by Kara!!

Dezi had his first meal last night since I welcomed him back, a 5.9 oz rabbit!! Yes this snake was missing for two or three weeks as Mike pointed out.
    ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just put two more f/t rabbits in the fridge to thaw for him and Lucy, if she doesn't eat hers then he will get a double meal tomorrow night.

Thanks Mike, it'll be at least three years before I get them to size. Lucy who is his future partner doesn't seem to want to eat more often than every month or so so it will be quite a while before she's breedable.

He looks good Nick! Can't wait to see him with some more size on him.

Just a little bit of food for thought - if he was on a walkabout w/o food for awhile, you may want to space out his next couple of meals instead of doing a double-up in the event that Lucy doesn't want hers. It would be a shame to see something go wrong with such a pretty snake...perforated intestines can happen, especially with big rabbit toenails. While I doubt a 2-3 week miss will make a big difference, it never hurts to be a little bit careful.

He's a gorgeous retic, and the bigger he gets the better he's going to look!

You're sure not the only one who thinks he'll be better with more size!
Thanks Kara, I'll keep that in mind.

He's got those wicked busy laterals that are going to look awesome as he grows...can't wait to see how he colors up too. That's a nice retic, hands-down!
