    Couple of Interesting TV Shows

    http://channel.nationalgeographic.co.../20071230.html

Sunday, December 30th, National Geographic has a couple of interesting shows on. First at 10 a.m. there's one about rat reproduction that I'm going to catch - not sure if it'll be anything new but I figure it's worth a look for any of us rat breeders. Secondly at 2 p.m. is a repeat of a Dog Whisperer episode I actually caught last night and was very touched by.

Cesar Milan devotes the entire show to one dog, a male yellow Labrador who served as a trained ATF bomb dog, both in the US and overseas in the line of fire. The dog came home and had to live through not one but two major hurricane events. It left this once brave dog with the canine equivalent of PTSD.

It's a wonderful show to watch and helps us all remember that part of our safety every day is due to these brave dogs in service daily at airports, our borders, police and fire departments, search and rescue, malls, schools, and overseas with our service men and women.

I also enjoyed the Dog Genius show which featured the wonderful organization that our Robin (rabernet) volunteers with. Catch that one too if you can.
