    Temp for soaking!

How hot do you guys keep the water for them to soak during the shedding process? I think the only way I will feel safe is buying a proper thermometer to check the temp of the water.

If your snake is shedding, I'd bump up the humidity a little. That's the only reason mine soak. As for water temps, when they feel the need to crawl in the bowl, it's basically at room temp.

Thanks for that but I was meaning actually putting them in a soak tub like joeypythons said to do. And yes I have bumped up the humidity and she is crawling in her water.

Normally you shouldn't need to soak a snake before a shed if your humidity is correct and stable. Soaking is something you'd do if your snake isn't able to fully shed after the snake has tried to do it itself. Here's a couple of really helpful links for you to read over.

Yeah the person I bought her from said that she was having problems shedding and that she was loosing it in patch's. They suggested soaking her in warm water for about 30 mins. I'm not sure how long she has been shedding for. This is my first shed expeirence.
